EA hosted the 2025 Summer School “Schools as enablers for a fair, healthy and sustainable food system” (29 June – 4 July), a five-day in-person training session for teachers and teacher trainers. EA linked the summer school to a contest focused on educational activities and scenarios on sustainable and healthy diets, following the Living Labs approach. An online newsletter was circulated to all schools in national level to encourage piloting and submission of activities on national level, and EA worked with partners to reach teachers in the consortium countries. The contest ran in collaboration with the National Network: Nutrition, Environment & Health by the Centre for Environmental Education and Sustainability of Ierapetra -Neapoli in Crete Region, in order to have greater participation. After the submission phase, an evaluation process took place, and selected participants were invited to participate in the summer school.
